When he was finished with the business and the rail bed he built he sold it to the government. The government of NB has owned it ever since and have never used it for any purpose.
The provincial government is presently in the process of returning the rail bed to the citizens or the current owners of the land that was originally theirs that was used to build the rail bed.
In the actual property has no evidence of a rail bed other than slightly less vegetation growth where the rail bed ran over 100 years ago.
